Separation is one of life's most significant transitions.
For many couples, it comes after years of shared experiences, family life, and mutual commitment, and the decision to separate can bring with it a complex mix of emotions including sadness, anger, uncertainty, and grief.
Alongside those emotions come important decisions that can often feel overwhelming.
At CB Consulting, we provide a safe, confidential, and impartial space where you can work through those decisions with clarity, dignity, and the right support at every step.
You Don't Have to Navigate This Alone
Our experienced, accredited mediators are here to guide you through one of the most challenging periods of your life.
We believe that while separation is difficult, it can also be an opportunity to establish healthier relationships, clearer boundaries, and a more positive path forward, for you as individuals, as parents, and where children are involved, as effective and respectful co-parents.
Mediation is voluntary, flexible, and client-led. Each session focuses on what matters most to you, and nothing is finalised until everyone is in agreement.
Our Approach
Every CB Consulting mediation session is co-facilitated by two experienced mediators. This ensures balanced, well-rounded support throughout the process. Our focus is always on helping people move forward with dignity and clarity.
Where children are involved, their wellbeing remains at the centre of everything. We help parents work together in ways that continue to support their children's needs, both now and into the future.
Preparing for Mediation
Before mediation begins, each individual attends a one-to-one preparation session. We believe that people make better decisions when they feel informed, heard, and supported.
This session gives you the space to ask questions, understand the process fully, and feel confident before committing to mediation.
